An Introduction to Mediation Advocacy (6 CPD Hours) – ½ Day
This course is designed to deal with the practical aspects for lawyers & other advocates who are considering Mediation as a means of resolving client issues. It highlights the differences between the Litigation Process, including settlement talks, and a Mediation Process where clients are legally represented at the mediation. Advanced Mediation Advocacy (10 CPD hours) – 1 Day
This course follows on from our highly acclaimed Introduction to Mediation Advocacy course. It is designed to explore in much greater detail all aspects of the Mediation Process, specifically looking at Effective Communication, Rapport, Effective Questioning, and the Psychology of Mediation. This is a very interactive program where each participant will be involved in a number of exercises, mediations and will also act as a mediator in a least one dispute.
